Prof . Lumír Ondřej Hanuš
A world-renowned analytical chemist and a leading figure in the field of cannabis research, who is responsible for groundbreaking research in the world of cannabinoids. His award-winning research serves as the basis for much of what we know about the plant today. In 1992, Prof. Hanuš isolated the first known endocannabinoid in the human brain, Anandamide, named after the Sanskrit word for bliss.
